NEOM, Saudi Arabia —

During its session chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, the Saudi Council of Ministers called on the international community—particularly the permanent members of the UN Security Council—to take urgent action to compel Israeli authorities to halt their violations against the Palestinian people and occupied territories according to Saudi Gazette.

The Cabinet strongly condemned recent remarks by the Israeli Prime Minister regarding the so-called “Greater Israel Vision,” reaffirming the Kingdom’s firm rejection of settlement expansion and occupation policies. It reiterated the Palestinian people’s legitimate right to establish an independent and sovereign state in accordance with international law, and denounced the latest Israeli approval of settlement construction around occupied Jerusalem.

In addition, the Cabinet expressed support for diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict peacefully, and welcomed international summits involving leaders from the United States, Russia, Ukraine, and Europe.

Marking World Humanitarian Day, the Cabinet highlighted Saudi Arabia’s longstanding commitment to humanitarian aid, emphasizing the Kingdom’s values rooted in Islam and its position among the world’s leading donor nations.

The session also reviewed key developments in education ahead of the new academic year, including curriculum reform, teacher training, AI integration, and expanded technical education.

Several agreements and authorizations were approved, covering areas such as handicrafts, sports cooperation with Spain, health collaboration with Syria, tourism promotion with Qatar, and customs partnerships with the United States and Kyrgyzstan. Additional MoUs were signed with institutions in Azerbaijan, Grenada, the Maldives, and the University of California, Berkeley.
