After careful consideration, I have decided to leave the Team Fouad Ahidar group within the City of Brussels Municipal Council. This decision was thoroughly thought through and made in a calm and respectful manner, with regard for the people I have worked with up to now.
I will continue to be fully committed to the people of Brussels, now serving as an independent elected official.
My priority remains the defense of the interests of the residents of our city, with particular attention to issues of social justice, citizen participation and local democracy, social cohesion, and sustainable housing. I will continue to advocate for matters related to inclusion, youth, and equal opportunities, ensuring that these are fair, ethical, and accessible to all.
I thank the members of Team Fouad for the journey we have shared and wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
For citizens, nothing changes: I remain available, attentive, and fully determined to continue my mandate with diligence and commitment in the service of the public interest.
